Out of Service documents the inaccessibility of the MTA by highlighting commuters with disabilities engaging with the public transit system. Using shadows and structures I shift the focus onto the disabled persons' experience in their surrounding environments and direct the viewer to identify and empathize with the daily struggles of having a disability in an ableist society.
